Peer Ambassador

Position info: 

Peer Ambassadors are dedicated to serving and representing the University Center for Academic Excellence (UCAE) in a professional and positive manner. They support UCAE programs by providing solid customer service and executing administrative tasks as needed.

 

Generally, Peer Ambassadors are responsible for:

 

Qualifications:

  • Welcoming students and guests

  • Developing an expanded knowledge of UNC Charlotte

  • Assisting with UCAE and Undergraduate Education events

  • Maintaining, cleaning an dorganized UCAE service areas

  • Assisting with a variety of program related taks and errands

  • Attending staff meetings and required trainings

  • Other duties as assigned

 
 

Specifically, Peer Ambassadors:

  • Represent the UCAE at events such as EXPLORE and Admitted Students Day

  • Manage check-ins to workshops and drop-in tutoring 

  • Assist students with Connect and other technology

  • Opening and closing the UCAE 

Qualifications: 

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate of any year.

  • Cumulative GPA 2.8 or higher. 

  • One reference. Reference from a UNC Charlotte faculty or staff member.
