Where else can I go?

There are many programs at UNCC that offer assistance to students. The following are some services with whom The University Center for Academic Excellence most often collaborates.

• The Writing Resources Center
  
  The Writing Resources Center provides students and faculty with assistance improving any type of writing.



• The Language Resources Center
  
  The Language Resource Center offers students a wide range of help with foreign languages.



• Disability Services
  
  Disability Services extends additional assistance to students who have short term or long term disabilities.



• The Counseling Center
  
  The Counseling Center assists student with personal concerns through individual and group counseling and a wide range of other psychological services.



• The University Advising Center
  
  The University Advising Center offers academic advising to students who have not yet declared majors. All students who have declared majors are advised within their department.



• The J. Murray Atkins Library
  
  The Library contains over one million books and a variety of other media and resources.



• Multicultural Academic Services
  
  Multicultural Academic Services assists undergraduate and graduate students, emphasizing students from traditionally underrepresented populations.



• The Office of Adult Students and Evening Services (OASES)
  
  The OASES office provides adult, non- traditional, and evening students with information and resources.
