Group Tutoring (RE:designed)
Do a Double Take!
Group Tutoring is small groups of students who meet with a tutor worrkly from the formation date of the group until the end of the semester. The tutor fields questions from the group and explains concepts from the course material that are not clear to the students. The tutor also encourages group members to help each other and explain concepts to each other, thus reinforcing the course material to those who are unsure and to those who have a better grasp of the concepts.
Group Tutoring not only gives you the expertise of a tutor but also allows you and your friends the opportunity to learn from and teach one another. For many people, the group setting will help you learn the concepts much better than study alone.
