   About Us The staff of the Unversity Center for Academic Excellence believes that, given sufficient time and resources, all students are capable of learning. In the Learning Lab, the staff is committed to bring UNCC students as many resources as possible - be they book, video, or software resources. In addition to physical resources, the lab offers the assistance of its staff and graduate students who share their knowledge of study skills and college survival strategies with any interested UNCC student. The University Center for Academic Excellence is committed to the individual students on UNCC's campus. We recognize that students may experience difficulties that may only be resolved by the attention of another person. For that reason, our staff strives to provide the individual attention that student's need to succeed academically. We are proud to offer workshops that can benefit students throughout their college experience. The staff is committed to keeping up to date on current research that can expand workshops or generate new ones. Recent collaboration the UNCC's Counseling Center and Writing Resource Center has generated new workshops to accomodate student requests.
